Pictures of growth to date. The weather has been cool, so growth is not outstanding. Flea beetles have been the cause of minor damage to some plants, and the Colorado Potato Beetle made its appearance, but insect damage has been minimal.
The broccoli bolted due to a few days of hot weather after the cold spell. Garlic, onions, and carrots are exceptional. Tomato growth is almost at the disaster stage. The various bush berries and fruit trees are all doing well.

I noticed that a lot of your potatoes have not been mounded up with soil or mulch, except the one in the box. Have you had good yield without mounding up the stems?
The potatoes are hilled. I plant in trenches and fill with quality compost to make level, The hilling serves one purpose and that is to cover the emerging tubers, which tend to push out of the ground as they grow around the seed potato. Potatoes do not grow from the stalk. The box is to document this fact. Exposed potatoes turn green and this indicates solanine is present, which should not be ingested.
Have a look at the season's growing.
